Frequently Asked Questions

How long should I wait to walk on or drive on new concrete?

If you are asking about a sidewalk or patio that will only be getting foot traffic, 24-36 hours is typically plenty of time to wait before walking on it. If you had a driveway poured or something that you plan on driving on we recommend waiting 5-7 days to let it fully cure before driving on it.

Do I need to seal my concrete?

We highly recommend that you seal all decorative concrete such as stamped patios. If you do not seal your patio, it could get stained from leafs laying on it during the fall, furniture sitting and rusting on it etc.

How often should my concrete be sealed?

Some people reseal their concrete every year and others do it every couple years depending on how much weather it is exposed too. We recommend resealing every other year.

Why does concrete crack?

Concrete cracks for many different reasons. Living in Ohio with the temperature changes from summer to winter can also lead to cracks due to the freezing and thawing cycles. It causes the ground to move up and down which can unfortunately lead to cracks.
